Sarah and Tyler’s engagement session at Historic Oak View County Park felt like the perfect blend of summer warmth and quiet, timeless charm. From the moment we started walking the grounds, everything about the evening just worked—soft light filtering through the trees, wide open green spaces, and that relaxed pace that lets couples settle in and just enjoy being together.

One of my favorite things about this place is how much variety it offers without ever feeling overwhelming. The open fields give you that airy, romantic feel, while the tree-lined paths and historic details add just enough character to make every spot feel intentional. It’s the kind of place where you can keep things simple and still end up with images that feel full and layered.

I left this session already looking forward to their wedding next April. There’s something really special about getting to document multiple chapters of a couple’s story, and this one is just getting started.
